For the last red lantern in a snow dark hall.
A natural star ruby cabochon sits at the center of this tall Rowenstar shadowbox, a deep cranberry stone held in an ornate window of sterling. Under strong light a soft star drifts across the surface, a quiet enchantment that comes and goes as you move. I engraved the frame into steel, then rolled reclaimed silver through the mill to raise the pattern before cutting and shaping the pendant by hand. At ten grams of sterling it has a solid, reassuring weight, the largest of the berry toned windows in this release.
