For the ones who slip out of the break room into the cold and stand among the Douglas firs until their fingers go numb.
A round rose cut blue green moissanite rests in a new sterling shadowbox, the frame worked in a repeating rosette pattern like a small cathedral window in their corporate housing, an abandoned chapel the elves call "The Morbs". I engraved the design into steel, then rolled reclaimed sterling through the mill to raise the pattern before sawing, shaping, and setting the stone by hand. The gem sits low and steady at the center, a cold spark of color that stays bright even under tired office light.
A quiet Hexxmas wish.

Measurements: 1 1/8" by 5/8" wide approx
Metal: 4.70g reclaimed sterling silver, rolled from my steel engraving and hand finished
