Leonie belongs to the Ingénue Opals, a small series of double-sided cultured opal pendants made for those who like their light a little unruly.
Her opal shifts with the angle, the background, and the light around it. Against shadow she deepens. Against pale paper she softens. She is not polished into obedience, she is left with enough wildness to be worth looking at twice.
The silverwork is made from 100% reclaimed sterling silver, recycled in-house and shaped by hand. The setting is built to be truly double sided, using cut silver casting elements, handmade non-directional bezel wire, and a patterned reverse meant to be seen as part of the piece, not hidden.
Leonie comes on a 20" bead soup necklace made with 3mm CZ beads, sterling silver end loops, and a stainless steel clasp.
