Her amethyst is a Rose de France pear shape, soft and lavender-toned, set inside a rectangular shadowbox with ornamental silverwork around the frame. The stone sits like a little violet portrait, quiet against the silver, with just enough color to catch the eye and then ask it to stay.
The silverwork is made from recycled sterling silver and shaped by hand. Her frame has a delicate old-world feeling, with small flourishes and a softly structured edge that makes the pale amethyst feel tucked away and treasured.
