At Château Noirecombe, Hortense keeps the things the world overlooks: a letter pressed into a book, a thorn beneath velvet, and flowers that bloom out of sight. The Violette de Bordeaux fig keeps its blossoms hidden within. So does this amethyst.
Individually hand cut, the genuine amethyst holds a flower carved into its center. Its violet facets draw the eye toward the bloom, while an ornate sterling silver cap and beads scattered along the chain bring a trace of Hortense’s forbidden garden to the piece. The amethyst measures approximately 1" tall x 1/2" wide. Made for adornment, ritual, and a little divination.
